Dogs At Home
We have two very friendly Giant Schnauzer dogs at home. They are friendly and love visitors. Just don’t throw that ball to Arthur (he's the very large Giant)!

Chorine free ater is sourced from our borehole. This water is filtered on-site and is regularly tested.
This picture makes Arthur (Giant Schnauzer) look bigger than he is - BUT, he is a large dog (although a total wuss). That's Lulu in the background on the lawn.
At Heron Cottage and Studio we are proud to be environmentally sensitive. We use Earth Bokashi to compost all of our food waste.
Food waste is composted and fed to our composting earthworms.
Green waste from our garden, and from our neighbours, is composted on-site.
We do not use any synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or insecticides.
Our organic vegetable garden is available for you to utilise for your own cooking or salad making.
While we do have chickens they are now, shame, slow layers (but excellent composters!).
